Westbrook open MRI is proud to announce the opening of our NEW, state-of-the-art, TRUE High-Field, TRULY Open MRI Scanner, the Philips Panorama 1.0T.  We are pleased to be the FIRST IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS to offer our patients the newest technology in the nation!

Radiologist owned and operated since 2000, Westbrook Open MRI has served patients and referring physicians with an emphasis on accessibility, convenience and rapid detailed reporting of results in a hassle-free environment with a personal, compassionate touch. 

Our Philips Panorama scanner offers comfortable MRI in an ambient atmosphere, which includes patient’s choice of sights and sounds designed to create a soothing environment.  Scan times are approximately half that of traditional open MRI scanners, further reducing patient anxiety.  Large patients will be pleased to learn that the Panorama will comfortably accommodate up to 550 pounds. 

In addition, referring physicians will appreciate the unsurpassed image quality available from the Panorama 1.0T scanner.  Unlike any other Open MRI scanner currently available, the Panorama scanner can perform tests previously available only in traditional “closed bore” scanners.
